
Today we talked about "What is Art", "What does art need?" and relooked at "Is this art?"

We also looked at our central idea and broke it down.
Some good discussion happened in particular their definition of what art is and what is an artist?

The consensus was that art provokes feeling. Art is anything and is all around us. We talked about the different types of artist - photographers, dancers, singers, performers, thespians (drama & theatre), visual and performing arts and even chefs.
