Guest Speaker - Photography

On Friday we had Mr Shunsuke Miyatake A Japanese photographer living in Phnom Penh who came to talk to the grade 4 classes about taking photos.

He uses instagram and his mobile phone to get  his photos out to the world. He talked to the children about 3 of the most important steps in taking a good photograph
- Focus - Zooming in and out to focus the photograph
- Composition - Think about the layout, positioning the person or thing in the photo
- Scene - decide on what your photo focus is - family / cultural

Mr Take said he uses his photos to connect to people around the world. He said to think about what is your view point of the world, how do you see the world through the camera. This will help you to connect to the photo. He uses his children as his focal point and how can he show Japanese culture to the world.
