Field trip - Catholic Church

Today the grade 4 classes visited the Child of Jesus Church (Boeung Tumpun) a Catholic Church.

We had Father Charlie a Catholic Priest talk to the grade about his religion. Like all the religions we have visited they Father Charlie had the same message. We all need to be forgiving, loving, caring and look after those that are less fortunate than us. Something he said Jesus preached when he was all Earth.


Father Charlie also showed the children all the special artifacts that make the church special.

Field trip - Jewish Synagogue / Islamic Mosque

On Wednesday the Grade 4 classes were lucky to visit a Jewish Synagogue followed by an Islamic Mosque.

At the synagogue the Rabbi talked about his faith and some of their traditions. The children asked some wonderful questions the best being
"If god created the world in 7 days, who created god". This the Rabbi said is what religious scholars, philosophers and scientist have asked for centuries.





At the Mosque we where lucky to have Wadia's father with us who was able to talk about his faith and a brief history of Islam.
