Buddy time

This week we got to meet our buddies for the first time. Grade 1 Ms Kelly's class.


It was so nice to see the G4  really excited to pair up with the new G1.



We spent the time reading and getting to know our new buddy class.

First day school year

Today saw the start of the new school year at ISPP.


Teachers, children and parents were all a bit nervous as children were dropped to classes.

It was great to finally meet the new G4 class and they got stuck straight into their work. Some new faces joined the G4 team this year.

We know it will be another wonderful, fun and exciting year in the G4 classes.

Poetry with Ms Rachel

This week we were lucky enough to have Ms Rachel come out of the library and work with the class on poetry.

She asked the class to brainstorm under the following headings - the memory door, the wonder door, the observation door, concerns about the world door.


Ms Rachel will be back next week to use these brainstorms to create some poetry.

It was very cool having Ms Rachel in the class and the class were so focused doing these activities.

Some really great thinking took place.

Peace One Day - Wed 21 Sept

WEDNESDAY 21 SEPTEMBER

ISPP will be celebrating this day across the whole school. Grade 4 and Grade 8 will be working together to participate in a range of peace projects.

We are asking all students to wear blue and white on Wednesday.

Buddy time

This week we met with our buddies and got to help them write greetings in different languages.



After that we taught them how to play silent ball. It was great fun.
