Today we had Jonas a grade 10 student work with our class on his "Personal Project".
He has the class using recyclable items to create things. It was great fun and lots of interesting things being made.

We also had Rogier Mansvelt who works for Comin-Khmer a solar energy company talk to the grade about what they are doing to get more solar energy into Cambodia.

Unit work - Energy

The past 2 weeks has seen us very busy unpacking and inquiring into our new unit - Energy.
"That Energy exists in different forms and is used in our everyday life".

We have also been looking at different experiments that show "Kinetic & Potential Energy" as well as playing around with electric circuits. Always a fun activity where we get to connect batteries and lights and switches.

Today we had a matching activity where we had to match a description to illustration to a title. Each was a different form or type of energy descriptor. It looked easy but challenged most pairs.
