Language games

For an activity on our overnight camp we had to design a language game that we could teach some children at the school attached to our homestay.

The class was put into groups of 3 or 4 and had to create a language game. They made games like snap, go fish, memory and bingo.
We then shared our games with our buddy class afterwards. They enjoyed playing the games.

French Snacks

Today the class were really lucky to go and join the French language class and enjoy some French cuisine.

The children had been researching French snacks and the origin of some food. Today they got to share that food with our class. Our class won a French quiz which enabled them to join in with the snacks.

Thank you Ms Valerie it was really nice.

Mr Simon's favourite was the blue cheese on baguette.

Understanding Language

I was sent this today by a teacher who thought it might be helpful for my children to understand the "Kiwi Accent" a bit better.
Not sure what they mean as I am sure my children totally understand every word I say...and speak very clearly.
What do you think?
