On Friday the Grade unveiled the friendship tree we have been working on as a collaborative art project.

Now the grade will come up with an appropriate name for the tree and also write a descriptive statement for it.
We also had Mr Marty Sharples a secondary teacher.

He spoke to the grade about his documentary he made with his friend called the "Cyclo Diaries". A documentary about them cycloing (biking) from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city in 30 days.

Marty Sharples and Adam Hurley pedalled a Vietnamese cyclo almost the entire length of the country. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Mr Marty told the children that first you have to have an idea then plan it.
