Guest Speaker Mia - Postcards

Today we Mia Jordanwood an artist and parent living in Phnom Penh come and talk to the grade about how society influences her with the art she creates. Mia told the children about her previous exhibitions she has had in New York and several years ago in Phnom Penh.

She shared examples of her work and stories of her life creating art. 

She particularly focuses her art now in creating postcards. 

It is medium she uses as she travels the world and creates the postcard to tell a story of where she is at that time in her life and what is happening in that country.

Each postcard tells a story about where she has been.
