Field Trip Wat Langka & Asia Foundation

Today the G4 classes boarded 3 noisy buses and headed off to the Asia Foundation to look at their gallery and to Wat Langka.

At the Asia Foundation we got to look at the 3D models that the architectural students at the university had put together on the redesigning of the Old Postoffice.

The top three winning designs were on display and we even got to speak to one of the group of students.
We also did a quick visit to the post office to see what it currently looks like.

At Wat Langka we got to listen to the Head Monk (Abbot) talk about the history of Wat Langka and about the artworks (murals) on display  in the temple.

We were very honoured to have the Head Monk come and speak to the children.  It was a great privilege.
