On Monday the Elementary Student Council meet to vote for their student president.Two students from our class - Jade and Maddie both put their names forward for the Vice-president and spoke in front of the council - something which is not easy to do.
I was really proud of them both for being great risk takers, communicators and being open minded.
They spoke really well and can be proud of giving it a go. They both would make great presidents so hopefully next year they try out again.
Unfortunately their can only be one winner.
The vote was a close count with the following results
President - Fatima (G5)
Vice President - Vorleak (G4)
Secretaries - SeoYoung (G5) & Olivia (G4)
CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE FOR GIVING IT A GO.
