To start our new unit of Inquiry "Art Mirrors Life" the class was asked "What is Art" and "What is an Artist?"This was our first thinking.
We will revisit this question at the end of our unit to see if we can add to our thoughts.
We then looked at a serious of different art forms. The children had to decide as individuals if they thought it was art or not. They had to justify there thinking.
What do you think?
The class decided that if it was not creative then it was not art in their eyes.
