Both companies talked about how they market their companies and how they create their products from scratch.
At Blue Pumpkin the class got a first hand experience in making a "Croissant" a famous French Pastry. They got to see it from the ingredient stage, to the making of the pastry, to actually rolling it into a croissant then it being baked and finally eating it.
Jennifer at Smateria talked about how she first started her business and how it has grown. Jennifer now provides an early childhood school as part of her company as she saw the need that her workers did not want to leave their young children at home and come to work.
Both companies reminded the children that they have to believe in their product and make sure they make it the best they can (quality).
