Today we had our "Student Led conferences" at school. Students come with their parents and share with them all the great things they have been doing.
It was really nice to see the parents listening so attentively to their child tell them about what they have been learning. The children got the opportunity to show the parents their blogs, the goals they are still working on and some maths strategies.
The parents were then asked to give feedback to their child on what they are proud of, two things they enjoyed and one thing they wish for their child to work on.

Everyone did a great job.
A huge thank you to the wonderful parent and child (you shall remain nameless) who brought in the lovely cakes for me to share with my family at the end of the day. It was greatly appreciated.
